The second test is based on the Domain Subject (Class XII Subjects). There are a total of 29 subjects across various streams. A student can choose the domain subjects which he may or may not have taken as class subjects in Class XII. The exam covers only the NCERT +2 syllabus. Some of the deleted chapters from NCERT have also been asked in the exam in the past.
The third test is the General Test, which has Basic Mathematics, Basic Reasoning and Mental Ability and Basic General Knowledge Questions. A candidate can choose a maximum of 6 subjects from all the three sections. Bank/PO reasoning questions. This section is mandatory for a few selective courses, the details of which can be found on the official websites of participating colleges.
Admissions to the Central universities all over India are based on the CUET exam score. Therefore, a candidate has to put in a lot of effort to crack the examination with a merit score. CUET coaching, sample papers, mock tests and question papers from previous years can help candidates score on the merit list.
